NYPD: Escaped prisoner captured

NEW YORK (AP) — A drug suspect who escaped from police custody and struck an officer with a vehicle in Queens has been captured.

Police say 38-year-old Bryan McMenamin was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon. He had been arrested earlier on charges of selling drugs. It wasn’t clear if he had a lawyer.
