Food stamps: February payments to Colorado residents worth up to $1,751 begin in three days

Published

Colorado low-income households will receive their February payments from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program in three days.

Food stamps will be sent out Thursday through Feb. 10 in the Centennial State. Benefits are distributed on the date that matches the last digit of a household’s Social Security number. For example, those with SSNs ending in 4 will receive payments on Feb. 4. Those with SSNs ending with 9 will collect on Feb. 9, and so on. SNAP households that become eligible after Feb. 10 can still receive benefits for the month and will not need to wait until March.
