Acclaimed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson alleged that “the world’s most famous arena,” Madison Square Garden, has an all-white board after a dispute between Tyson and MSG staffers regarding New York Rangers tickets.
Tyson purportedly requested stubs to Monday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche, but when MSG failed to provide the number the scientist wanted, he became upset, according to a report.
After being denied the number of tickets he wanted, Tyson reportedly brought up Black History Month and accused MSG of having no nonwhite board members.
Immediately, the tickets gifted to the astrophysicist were voided, the report noted.

A representative for Madison Square Garden denied Tyson’s allegation that the arena’s board is only made of white people, according to the report.
“Mr. Tyson is incorrect, we have several diverse members on our boards,” the representative said.
