Chris Christie feuds with The View over Biden’s ability to sell presidential accomplishments

Published February 8, 2024 4:01pm ET

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a former 2024 Republican presidential candidate, got into an argument with co-hosts of The View on Thursday over President Joe Biden being able to sell his accomplishments to voters in November.

Christie, a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, was asked why so many people, especially Republicans, have focused on Biden’s age going into the 2024 election, as Biden will turn 82 this year. Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts, argued that Biden has helped the economy and lowered the cost of insulin, and she asked why Biden being over 80 is a problem “when all of this is being accomplished.”
