SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A patient who fled from a San Antonio psychiatric hospital as medical officials were trying to load him into an ambulance has been killed when he ran into traffic on a nearby busy highway.
Police spokesman Douglas Greene says the man had a seizure at a treatment center. Then when officials were trying to put him in the ambulance, he bolted toward the highway.
