A private jet with five people on board crash-landed on a Florida interstate highway Friday, where it collided with two cars and killed two people.

Per the National Transportation Safety Board, the Bombardier Challenger 600 took off from Ohio and was slated to land at Naples Airport. Shortly before it attempted its landing on the southbound lane of Interstate 75 near Naples, the pilot claimed over the radio that the turbofan engines failed. As a result, the NTSB is investigating the cause of the crash.
