Super Bowl 2024: Watch the commercials for this year’s game

Super Bowl commercials are notoriously one of the best parts of the game for nonfootball fans and are considered some of the best advertisements of the year.

This year’s collection featured ads with major stars including Jason Momoa, Lionel Messi, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Christopher Walken.

Here is a look at some of the Super Bowl ads that have been teased so far:

Jason Momoa’s T-Mobile ‘Flashdance’ ad

Aquaman star Jason Momoa hit a high note and backflip in a T-Mobile ad that pays homage to the classic 1983 movie Flashdance. The ad also stars Zach Braff  and Donald Faison.

Dove promotes self-love in women’s sports

Dove created an ad that highlights the impact that self-esteem has on women’s sports. In the 30-second ad spot, Dove encourages viewers to join a movement to promote self-confidence and self-love to boost female participation.

Ken Jeong gets unfrozen in new Popeye’s ad

Ken Jeong stars in Popeyes’s first Super Bowl commercial, highlighting the chain’s new chicken wings. The ad unfreezes Jeong after 52 years and shows him catching up on things that he missed, such as a new breed of dog.

Budweiser goes “old school” with ad featuring iconic Clydesdales

Budweiser‘s ad for the Super Bowl is a return of an iconic fixture for the brand — the Clydesdales. The ad shows a Budweiser deliveryman using horses and a Labrador retriever to get beer delivered to a bar in a small town amid a blizzard.

Oreo twists fate with a Kardashian

Oreo’s advertisement for the big game features people twisting the cookie to make decisions, ranging from letting the Trojan Horse enter Troy in ancient Greece to people deciding whether to report a UFO to Kris Jenner deciding whether to agree to a reality television show about her family’s life.

Bud Light’s genie grants wishes

Bud Light is looking to rebound from a controversial year with its star-studded ad featuring a “Bud Light genie” granting wishes for a lucky group of people. The wishes range from ’80s metal hair to going to the Super Bowl, while the celebrity cameos range from Peyton Manning to Post Malone — who is singing “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl.

M&M’s gives runners-up a ring

An ad by M&M’s for the Super Bowl features the “almost champions ring of comfort” to several famous Super Bowl runners-up, including Dan Marino, Terrell Owens, and Bruce Smith, plus Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson.

Cetaphil celebrates a Swift new audience for football

Skincare brand Cetaphil’s ad for the Super Bowl shows how fathers and daughters have gotten closer this season, as music superstar Taylor Swift‘s attendance to Kansas City Chiefs games — to cheer her boyfriend tight end Travis Kelce — has caused an uptick in young women and girls watching football. The ad does not explicitly mention Swift but drops several hints with a No. 13 jersey, Swift’s lucky number, and the father wearing a friendship bracelet at the end of the ad, among other references to the iconic musician.

The 2024 Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers began at 6:30 p.m. EST at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The game aired on CBS this year, with alternate broadcasts for children on Nickelodeon and in Spanish on Univision.
