The Baltimore office of commercial real estate firm Colliers Pinkard has been selected to represent The GATE, a 2.3 million-square-foot office and technology park at Aberdeen Proving Ground, the company said this week. The 400-acre project is being developed by Opus East LLC for the government and its contractors expected to move to the base as part of BRAC. The complex will include a 60,000-square-foot R&D facility and two 80,000-square-foot office buildings.
“The GATE project is unique as it is one of the first private endeavors inside the APG’s perimeter,” Colliers Pinkard President David Gillece said in a statement. “We’ve already started to see demand for office space in Aberdeen, and are confident that Opus will deliver on the high expectations already set for this project.”
