Years from now, people will look back at the left-wing elite that sought to dictate to everyone else that men can be women just by wanting to. Unfortunately, we live in the present, in perilous times, when radical left-wing elitists are trying to redefine society to adhere to the feigned ignorance of reality upon which their gender ideology depends for its survival.
The latest example of this is former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas being nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year. Thomas, a male swimmer who exploited a loophole to compete in women’s sports, is not a woman. Thomas never was a woman and, as such, should not receive any honor intended for women. To suggest otherwise is offensive, insulting, and discriminatory against actual women. There are plenty of real women athletes who deserve to be honored.
This nomination is also indicative of the depths to which the Left will sink to promote transgender propaganda. This is not really even about ensuring equality or assimilating transgender people into society without bias or discrimination. It is really about disorienting everyone, redefining societal norms in a new and deranged way. It is about erasing the biological truth of womanhood and reducing it to effeminate stereotypes and affectations that any play-acting man can put on.
Since bursting into the public news cycle, Thomas has done nothing but take away opportunities from women. That is his actual legacy. This male person, who has a penis, should not be taking an award from a woman. Thomas is free to dress as he wants, wear any clothes he wants, and be as effeminate as he wants. It’s his right as an American. He won’t be the first man to do so, and he certainly won’t be the last. But Thomas does not have the right to take victories or scholarships or awards or other opportunities away from real women. Thomas is not a woman, and that hasn’t changed.
