McCarthy to unveil ‘Commitment to America’ policy agenda ahead of midterm elections

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) will unveil his policy agenda on Sept. 19 in the Pittsburgh area as the GOP looks to sway voters ahead of the midterm election cycle.

The “Commitment to America” policy platform has four planks: “an economy that is strong,” “a government that’s accountable,” “a future that’s free,” and “a nation that’s safe.”
