Customers can earn one mile with Delta Air Lines for every dollar spent at participating Starbucks locations.

“Starbucks Rewards and Delta SkyMiles are centered on creating moments of meaningful connection, and by bringing together two of the country’s most celebrated loyalty programs, we are able to reward our members with more of what they love,” said Ryan Butz, vice president of loyalty strategy and marketing at Starbucks.

The promotion partnership, announced Wednesday, applies to customers enrolled in both the Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards loyalty programs.

Customers who link their accounts online before Dec. 31 will earn an additional 500 Delta SkyMiles. Additionally, those who join will earn 150 “stars” after making one Starbucks purchase.

The promotion also features the perk of customers earning “double stars” when making a qualifying Starbucks purchase on the date of a scheduled Delta flight.
