Setting of viral ‘boohoo’ video a mystery after airport denial

The scene for a viral video showing a woman yelling for the “airport manager,” which received a “boohoo” response from the person filming, remains a mystery.

The video was initially uploaded to TikTok and described the location as the Indianapolis International Airport, though some locals questioned the accuracy of the claim.

After several media outlets contacted the airport for confirmation about the location of the video, the Indianapolis Airport Authority sent out a tweet clarifying that the incident did not happen here.

“A number of media outlets have contacted the Indianapolis Airport Authority about a viral video making its way through social media. Please be advised, the incident depicted in the video did not occur at the Indianapolis International Airport,” the IAA wrote in a statement on Twitter on Thursday.

The video, which was uploaded on Wednesday and contains explicit language, shows a disgruntled woman yelling as she walks away from a police officer she alleged “choked” her to the ground.

“I want the manager of the f****** airport here,” she yelled into the terminal seating area.

The person filming the incident says in the video, “I saw you run through the door when you weren’t supposed to.”

She again yells about being choked and taken to the ground by the officer.

“Boohoo,” he tells the woman.

“Boohoo? F*** off,” she responds.

The background of the video shows an American Airlines departure at gate E38A, which does not exist in Indianapolis, according to a local FOX affiliate.

Although the correct airport was apparently not specified, the video shows a luggage cart with “DFW” printed on it, which is the abbreviation for the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.
