A new panini sandwich priced at $100 at Disneyland ranks among the world’s most expensive sandwiches.
The sandwich was made in a Marvel superhero-themed “food innovation science lab” restaurant that reportedly can shrink and expand meals.
CALIFORNIA TO REMOVE PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS ON JUNE 15
The Pym-ini Sandwich, named after Ant-Man character Hank Pym, will make its debut on June 4 at Disney California Adventure Park to coincide with the opening of the Avengers Campus, a Marvel superhero-themed land.
The sandwich comes with salami, rosemary ham, provolone, and sun-dried tomato on toasted focaccia. It’s served with marinara dipping sauce and an arugula salad.
The Pym Test Kitchen re-sizes its meals using “Pym Particles,” the same technology used to shrink Ant-Man and the Wasp, which the restaurant is themed for, according to the Orange County Register.
