Uncle Tom II is must-see TV

Uncle Tom II: An American Odyssey is must-see TV for every person in the country. It shines a light on what liberals and Democrats don’t want anyone to see. It discusses race relations, the struggles of the black community, the deterioration of the black family, and the infiltration tactics the Left has used in the culture wars for decades.

“From Executive Producer Larry Elder and Director Justin Malone, comes the continuation of their highly acclaimed film, Uncle Tom (2020),” the film’s press release says. “Uncle Tom II will take the audience deeper into black America’s often eradicated history of honorable men, entrepreneurship, prosperity, faith, and patriotism, to its current perceived state of anger, discontent and victimhood.”

The film does not disappoint in this regard. I was engaged with the topics the documentary covered — in fact, I couldn’t stop watching it. The documentary provides a platform to discuss the true damage the Left has caused in this country. It also provides a perspective that many Democrats, liberals, and other left-wing pundits try to silence: that of black conservatives and Republicans.
If you watch the news and the current politics of the country and ask yourself, “How did we get here?” Uncle Tom II is for you. It opens with old footage of black Americans — except it’s different from the images of slavery or segregation that Democrats typically show of black people. This footage shows black families celebrating, interacting, and joyfully living life. The film then touches on the Left’s mindset of oppression that many embrace.

The film then cuts to Jessica Larche standing where the first slaves in North American history set foot and then another video of Larche narrating over a 7-year-old marching in the streets screaming, “No justice, no peace,” in an interview with Dr. Dion Metzger. The contrast with the opening scene is chilling. It shows the narrative the Left has created with black Americans in the country — from living the American dream and supporting a strong nuclear family to the perpetual victimization narrative reinforced over decades of brainwashing.

“So that little girl learned that from history, she learned that from her parents,” Metzger says. “And that’s why it’s so important for us to continue to tell the story.”

And that’s just within the first 12 minutes.

“I wanted to show how the civil rights movement has been infiltrated and hijacked by collectivists, Marxists, socialists, communists, and race hustlers,” Larry Elder, executive producer of the film, told me. “Race has never been a less significant factor in American success, but many people on the Left, often through sheer ignorance, believe otherwise.”

Additionally, one of Uncle Tom II’s most important lessons is the highlighting of the significant role Marxists and communists have had in contemporary left-wing political messaging. Today’s left-wing movements are the fruits of yesteryear’s communist efforts, Elder emphasized.

“The communists had, and still have, a long-term plan to destroy America from within,” he said. “They know that the soft spot in America is ‘race relations.’ During the 2016 election, the Russians bought thousands of Facebook ads, half were pro-black and half were anti-black. They [Russians] just wanted to sow dissent and pit Americans against Americans. And, as the KGB defector in the movie explains, the plan is working beautifully.”

Today, the stigma of being called a communist has almost completely vanished, unfortunately. Nevertheless, much of what we see today comes from BLM, antifa, critical race theory, diversity, equity and inclusion, gender ideology, and other far-left political movements that originate in Marxist and communist orthodoxy.

Uncle Tom II exposes the strategy behind the Left’s propaganda successes. They pursue infiltration instead of confrontation. Instead of conflict, Marxists brainwash people into thinking they are fighting for benevolent causes of “social justice.” Their movement motivates followers to believe they are fighting against an oppressive regime — that of the United States. “We will never defeat the West, with guns and conflict, but rather we will defeat them through infiltration,” says a narrator in the film.

To achieve victory, as Uncle Tom II emphasizes, the Left must work to sway public opinion and change the culture’s norms. Marxists, communists, and other radical left-wingers must destroy society from within to become victorious.

Uncle Tom II unveils the Marxist strategy of creating false racial tension between Americans, with its ultimate goal of obtaining power, destroying capitalism and replacing God with government,” a release for the film said. Given the upcoming election, it’s an important warning. And if we don’t pay attention to the documentary’s lessons, the consequences will be dire.
