We’re just a couple of weeks away from June, also known as Pride Month. Brace yourselves for endless rainbow profile pictures and viral Twitter videos of gender-ambiguous people twerking in the streets with little to no clothing. You’d think adults would want to keep children far, far away from these displays of cultural degeneracy, but the opposite seems to be true: Sexually charged children’s pride activities are popping up all over the country.

A quick Google search of “pride events for kids” confirms as much. The top results for me in northern Texas are numerous library story hours featuring books with inappropriate content and LGBT characters, a “special” pride festival sponsored by Dallas Pride that will not allow anyone over the age of 18 years old to get in, and all sorts of children’s drag queen events, which are inherently sexual.
