As a young boy in 1930s Pennsylvania, Joe Humphreys loved the wilderness, and his love found a purpose when his father took him fly fishing for the first time.

He went on to become a legend in the world of fly fishing and conservation. He taught generations of students at Penn State University, and his classes were ultimately about living the American dream.
