With New Hampshire voters in a new poll signaling that they don’t want President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump to run in 2024, the question turns to who has what it takes to win the nation’s first presidential primary and election.
Just in time, pollster Jonathan Zogby (and his Zogby Poll that he shared with Secrets) has a hint.
In a survey of business leaders, he put up two celebrities as the Democratic nominees, and they crushed the potential GOP lineup of Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Fox star Tucker Carlson, and even fellow celebrity Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The ticket: BFFs Oprah Winfrey and actress/semi-royal Meghan Markle.
Both have long been tossed into presidential polls, and reports have suggested both are interested in a presidential bid. And Oprah elevated Markle to royal wrecker with her recent interview.
The Zogby Poll suggested something of a political rivalry between the two megastars, with Winfrey edging out Markle in the challenges.
For example, Winfrey is favored over Trump by 27 percentage points, 58%-31%. Markle leads by 20 points, 52%-32%.

Pence lags both also, but he does slightly better than Trump.
And Carlson, in a surprise, does as good as DeSantis, the GOP rising star.
There is no deep meaning, of course.
Zogby said he threw the question into his poll of 500 business leaders “just for fun.”
