Shots were fired at the Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh, local outlets in Pennsylvania reported.
Police were called to the mall just after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday to respond to reports of shots fired, and officers have since taken two people into custody, KDKA reports. A store manager told the outlet an altercation between two groups of teenagers outside a store led to a gun being pulled, causing the mall to implement its lockdown procedure.
No injuries have been reported, and officers, who told the outlet they believe the incident to be gang-related, are still searching for a third person.
The Pittsburgh Police Department’s SWAT and Zone 1 officers are assisting the Ross Township Police Department in a mutual aid capacity after reports emerged that shots were fired inside Ross Park Mall, the PPD confirmed.
