Michelle Reynolds, 48, was last seen last Thursday when she went out to grab some food, according to her husband. Her Lexus SUV has been recovered in New Orleans, nearly 600 miles from her last location, with her possessions still stashed inside the vehicle.

Michelle Reynolds”I am heading back to Houston now because I have three children. My daughter is having a really tough time and so is my 13-year-old daughter and my 11-year-old son as well,” her husband said, per KHOU. “Please be on the lookout for Michelle. We love her and miss her dearly. We’re doing everything we can to bring her home safe.”

Reynolds was a teacher at Fairview Junior High in Alvin, Texas, about 30 miles outside Houston. During the time since she has gone missing, she has had no contact with family and friends, according to the report.

Meanwhile, surveillance footage showed her parking and exiting her vehicle in New Orleans before walking, Fox 26 reported. She was reportedly not in her usual mental state, but the footage has indicated there was no foul play from “point A to point B,” an official told the news outlet.

“We know that Michelle was confused. There’s some things that were going on,” said Tim Miller from Texas EquuSearch, a firm involved in the hunt for Reynolds, according to Fox 26. “She parked at 12:01 p.m., got out of her car, and started walking. So we know now that foul play did not happen from point A to point B.”

Reynolds’s family was able to locate her SUV via geolocation. Her cellphone, license, credit card, and purse were still in the vehicle, per Fox 26. Her car was parked on Saint Peters Street, which is not far from the Mississippi River, according to officials.

“We were made aware that one of our employees, Michelle Reynolds, has not been heard from since Thursday afternoon. Alvin ISD has reached out to the Reynolds family and has been assisting the family during this difficult time,” the school said, per KHOU.
