A video of a Missouri bartender allegedly destroying a military ID has gone viral.
The scene was posted by a Facebook user named Noel Cook, who shared in a Saturday post that he and five military friends recently visited LOTO Lounge in Missouri, where a bartender identified as Josh Weitkamp “started to destroy someone’s military ID because he ‘used to be a cop and knows what an ID is supposed to look like.’”

“That’s a real ID,” someone is heard telling the bartender in a video that has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
“Let me call my boys that have been to f—ing Afghanistan,” the bartender responds while picking at the ID.
“We’ve been to Iraq and Afghanistan,” one person in the group says.
“Dude, you don’t even look old enough to know about f—ing 9/11,” Weitkamp replies before telling them to leave the bar and calling the ID “fake.”
The bartender then begins destroying the ID in front of the group and throws it on the ground.
Police later responded to the bar in the seven-minute video, and Weitkamp asks the officer: “Have you been in the military, sir?”
“Yes,” the officer responds.
“Can you tell me if you can peel off the front of a military ID?” the bartender asks.
“Yeah, actually,” the officer says. “I remember mine being laminated.”
Social media users have since slammed the interaction as “wildly blatant and disrespectful” and “a clown show.”

The Washington Examiner was unable to reach LOTO Lounge for comment on the video, as its Facebook page appears to have been taken down and the establishment’s phone number was not set up to receive voicemails.
