Jews at Sea

AFP reports:

Two Israeli navy ships made a rare crossing of Egypt’s Suez Canal on Tuesday, headed from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea, a port source told AFP.

One of those ships is the INS Hanit, which was hit by an Iranian-supplied, shore-to-ship missile during Israel’s 2006 war with Hezbollah. Earlier this month, an Israeli sub loaded with what may or may not have been nuclear weapons traversed the Suez canal in what was widely seen as a “as a show of strategic reach in the face of Iran.”
