WASHINGTON (AP) — A 14-year-old District of Columbia boy has died after the scooter he was riding collided with a car in southeast Washington.
Police say Kaywone Wills of Washington and a friend were driving the scooter on Saturday night. They apparently hit a speed bump and lost control of the scooter. That’s when it crashed head-on into a car.
The two boys were taken to a hospital. Willies died of his injuries. The second rider suffered minor injuries in the accident.
