Comedy legend Katt Williams tore into government officials for appearing to abandon citizens in favor of illegal immigrants.
Williams said he was shocked that politicians in Washington, D.C., and major cities provide housing and fund the lives of immigrants while there are citizens who struggle and live on the streets, he told Joe Rogan on Thursday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.
The 52-year-old comic made the comment after Rogan brought up the amount of money that politicians are willing to put toward funding foreign conflicts, such as the war in Ukraine.
“How are we allowed to have a foreign policy when we are violating the policies here?” Williams asked. “What do you mean the immigrants are getting a check and we’re putting them up in places?”
Williams noted people across the nation are struggling and that the government, including the Biden administration, is ignoring them while sparing little expense for migrants in cities such as Chicago and New York City.
“What? You mean in the homeless people’s face?” he said. “Let us show you what we could have done. … Wow, that’s not OK as a society.”
There is a lot of money being tossed around by Democrats with their immigration policy, including the “scam” of trying to give illegal immigrants debit cards in New York City, Rogan said.
“There is no one who isn’t profiting,” Williams said. “I’m saying how ridiculous is it for you to think you have the greatest country in the world and then it not be a big deal to get there.”
“This is the bees saying, ‘Why do they love our honey so much?'” he added.

Rogan said it is simply shocking for people that there appears to be no effort by the nation’s elected officials to stop the “stem of illegal immigration.”
“That’s what people are freaked out about,” he said.
