SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a western New York woman has been charged after a man had to break a window on her car when she left the child in the vehicle while she shopped.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office tells local media that a 32-year-old woman left her 1-year-old daughter in the car while she shopped Sunday afternoon at the Walmart store in Springville.
