Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was confronted by protesters at a movie theater in New York City, with the pro-Palestinian protesters berating her on her language when discussing the Israel-Hamas war.
The New York Democrat, who has been critical of Israel’s war plan and vehement in calling for a ceasefire in the conflict, was accused by the protesters of refusing to call the war against Hamas terrorists a “genocide.” Ocasio-Cortez told protesters heckling her and her fiance that they needed to “understand that this is not OK.”
