The Randolph, N.H., community has rallied to remember the seven motorcyclists killed in a crash after they were hit by a pickup truck.
Gov. Chris Sununu called for flags to be at half-staff to honor victims of the Marine Jarheads MC group who died in the collision.
The crash site was visited by those looking to remember those killed Friday.
“As a motorcyclist, we try to support each other in the community,” said Ralph Jesseman, a New Hampshire resident. “It’s no different than how runners, hikers, snowmobilers, bicyclists support each other.”
The Randolph community has been greatly affected by the event, but are working to support each other.
“He’s been coming in on a regular basis, and he inquired about who all the people were and I told him, and he said he would like to pay their bill, and he paid their whole bill,” Tricia Arakelian, of the Water Wheel Restaurant, said about a man who paid for the meal of first responders after they left the crash scene.
Officials announced Sunday the identities of the seven motorcyclists who died in the crash.
