WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama has discussed ongoing Iranian nuclear negotiations with French President Francois Hollande (frahn-SWAH’ oh-LAWND’).

In a readout of the call, the White House says the U.S. and France are in “full agreement” regarding a deal they, along with four other world powers, presented to Iran. The White House says the U.S. and France consider the proposal to be a “sound step” toward ensuring Iran is not seeking a bomb.
