Politicians share Easter celebrations, passing over Transgender Day of Visibility

Despite President Joe Biden‘s efforts to pay homage to transgender Americans on Easter, politicians opted to celebrate the original holiday on social media.

Sunday is the Christian holiday of Easter, which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Saturday, Biden declared March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility in a nod to the LGBT community. Political figures sounded off on social media on Sunday in honor of Easter instead.
