Police say 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire into the crowd at the three-day Route 91 country music festival late Sunday night. Paddock is believed to have carried out the attack from a hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Police said he had been in the room since Sept. 28.
Police believe Paddock committed suicide before law enforcement broke into his hotel room at the Mandalay Bay.
