Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden announced his campaign and the shared committees with the Democratic Party raised more than $350 million during the month of August.

Biden benefited from both selecting California Sen. Kamala Harris as the party’s vice presidential nominee and from the Democratic National Committee, which lifted Democrats to a $364.5 million haul, the Biden campaign announced on Wednesday. The massive draw includes more than $205 million, or 57%, from online, small-dollar donations, and more than 1.5 million people contributed their first contribution to the campaign last month.
