Immigration protesters crash Trump’s golf round in New Jersey

Activists stood outside President Trump’s New Jersey golf course on Saturday to protest the administration’s controversial zero-tolerance immigration policy.

Around 200 protesters gathered outside Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., many of whom held signs relating to immigration reform, including one that read “Asylum seekers are not criminals,” according to a White House pool report.

Another sign read: “I really do care you should too #begone,” referencing Melania Trump’s recent controversial jacket choice.

According to the pool report, protesters gathered at an intersection outside the course.

Protesters gathered on Saturday in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, and other cities across the country to call for an end to the Trump administration’s perceived-harsh immigration enforcement and recent family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border.
