Olympic gold medalist and transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner says she is “seriously” considering a run for office — but only if it will help the LGBTQ community.
“I would have to look, over the next year or two, look and see, can I do a better job on the outside or am I in a position now that I can do a better job for my community on the inside,” the reality TV star told CNN.

Jenner, a Republican, has vowed to change her party’s approach to LGBTQ issues.
In a recent interview with ABC, Jenner revealed she voted for President Trump but has turned down his invitation to play golf because of Trump’s decision to remove Obama-era transgender guidelines.
“The deal breaker is, you mess with my community … you don’t give us equality and a fair shot, I’m coming after you,” Jenner said.
