Musician Justin Timberlake was arrested on Long Island in New York.
Sag Harbor Village police confirmed the arrest to FOX 5 NY. Timberlake’s arrest was reportedly “DWI-related.”

According to sources speaking with TMZ, Timberlake was stopped by police after running a stop sign. He was coming from a party at the American Hotel shortly after midnight.
The outlet reported that Timberlake failed a sobriety test in the form of a “one-legged stand and a walk and turn.” He refused to do a breathalyzer test.

Several of the singer’s friends arrived on the scene in an attempt to get police to let him off, but they refused. The report said that the entire interaction was captured on police body cameras.
His next court date after Tuesday’s arraignment is July 26. He is being represented by criminal defense lawyer Ed Burke, Jr. The Washington Examiner reached out to the Sag Harbor Police Department for comment.
