Everything?s coming up roses in Oregon Ridge Park.
At the popular Baltimore County site, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrew Constantine, will perform the best of Broadway?s showstoppers, including songs from “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Chicago” and “The Producers.”
The BSO also will fill the air with greats from the American Songbook, such as music from George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Rodgers and Hammerstein. A fireworks display will be the backdrop for the night of song.
The show begins at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $7 for children. Free on-site parking will be available.
Saturday?s performance is the latest concert in a series of acts scheduled for Oregon Ridge Park?s Summerfest.
