As Independence Day celebrations rapidly approach Washington, D.C., the threat of evening thunderstorms could postpone or cancel the annual fireworks display.
The heat will hit early, reaching 80 degrees before 10 a.m., and will reach its peak of 93 degrees around 5 p.m., with winds at 5-10 mph. Humidity will rise up to 81%, and the ‘feels like’ temperature could reach 101 degrees.
