If you want to convince President Trump of something, the best way to do it is through two Fox News shows, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says.
“The two most effective ways of communicating with Trump are ‘Fox & Friends’ and ‘Hannity,’” Gingrich told the New York Times in a profile of Sean Hannity published Tuesday.
Gingrich has often appeared on the network as a staunch supporter of the president.
Trump has made his admiration for the network known via Twitter. On Monday, he suggested that every news network, except Fox News, compete to determine which has the most “dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted” coverage of his administration. The winner, Trump said, would receive a “fake news trophy.”
Days earlier, he wrote Fox News “is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN.”
