Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to hold a rally with her new running mate, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), at 7 p.m. in Michigan.
Harris selected Walz on Tuesday after a long period of speculation following her becoming the Democratic nominee for president. Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) was also heavily considered.

Walz has already furthered his assault on Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), former President Donald Trump’s running mate, saying he would debate with him if Vance can “get off the couch.”
