Teen attacked on way to bus stop

Baltimore County police are searching for a man they said sexually assaulted at knife point a 13-year-old girl on her way to the bus stop early Thursday morning.

The suspect approached the girl as she walked to the bus stop near Bowleys Quarters and Clarks Point roads around 7:45 a.m. and demanded money, police said.

When the victim told him she didn?t have any, he dragged her to a nearby wooded area and sexually assaulted her.

The man released the girl, who fled the scene and contacted her parents on her cell phone. She was taken to Greater Baltimore Medical Center where she was reported to be in good condition.

Police spokesman Cpl. Michael Hill said the area is not considered “high crime.”

The suspect may have walked from the scene to a dark medium to full-size pick-up truck in the area. Police described the man as a 5-foot, 9-inch tall white male with a medium build, a faint dark mustache and braces on his teeth. He was in his late teens to early 20s and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and “skater” style sneakers.
