Gas prices decreased slightly to start October, with the national average for a gallon of regular gas on Tuesday falling to $3.204, according to AAA.

This was a slight decrease from Monday’s price of $3.216 per gallon. Gas prices are slightly lower than last week when it cost $3.21 for a gallon of regular gas.
