Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy argued Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris selected Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as her running mate because he “most reminds her” of President Joe Biden.
McCarthy said Harris’s campaign is “incapable of knowing what they’re doing,” citing Walz’s performance at the first and only vice presidential debate. The former House speaker said most of the campaign’s problems stem from Harris seeking the presidency while fulfilling her vice presidential duties, including helping those affected by Hurricane Helene.
