Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Republican vice presidential nominee, agreed with a comment on X that said former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) could take a prominent position in Vice President Kamala Harris’s Cabinet as secretary of defense or state.
Cheney and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, recently endorsed Harris, and the younger Cheney has campaigned with the vice president.
