Former President Donald Trump once again panned the recently released movie about his life, this time calling it “defamatory” and a “hatchet job” with a post on Truth Social early Monday morning.
The Apprentice, a film depicting a young Trump’s rise to power in the 1970s and 1980s while being mentored and influenced by attorney Roy Cohn, debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024. It has an ensemble cast and features Sebastian Stan as Trump and Jeremy Strong as Cohn.
