Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said the news of the Israel Defense Forces killing Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was a “solid move to eliminating Hamas.”
Sinwar’s death comes over a year after the attack against Israel, which he masterminded. Hamas combatants killed 1,200 people in southern Israel and kidnapped others, 100 of which are still being held hostage. Blackburn predicted the conflict between Hamas and Israel would soon come to an end.
