Senate GOP campaign arm gets $7.2M boost in April

The National Republican Senatorial Committee raised over $7.2 million last month, giving the group a financial boost ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

NRSC Chairman Rick Scott, a senator from Florida, announced on Tuesday that the committee brought in about $3 million more in April than it did last year, when it raised $4.5 million. The NRSC also raised more than $15 million online in 2021, which is about 50% of its total contributions.
