DALLAS (AP) — Thousands of North Texas homes and businesses have lost electricity as thunderstorms rolled through the area and delayed some travel.
Oncor (ON’-kor) by late Monday morning reported nearly 13,000 customers without power, mainly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as utility crews worked to restore service.
The aviation tracking website FlightAware.com reports some weather-related delays Monday at Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
The National Weather Service says the chances for rain should ease by Monday night across North Texas. Highs are expected to reach the 80s.
