A technical glitch caused all the microphones of the 10 candidates to be turned on during the first Democratic debate, causing moderators Chuck Todd and Rachel Maddow to cut to commercial.
Chuck Todd looked confused after he had started a question and the candidates said their mics were on.
He initially thought the problem was fixed but was forced to take a break when the technical difficulties continued.
Trump criticized the technical difficulties on Twitter.
“.@NBCNews and @MSNBC should be ashamed of themselves for having such a horrible technical breakdown in the middle of the debate. Truly unprofessional and only worthy of a FAKE NEWS Organization, which they are!” Trump said.
