“America’s worst mayor” Tiffany Henyard lost her nomination bid to retain her position as Thornton Township supervisor on Tuesday night.

The Democratic Party Caucus voted against Henyard’s nomination because she did not have a full slate of leaders, including highway director, clerk, assessor, and four trustees, on her ticket. She did not have a certified accessor, so the caucus moved not to grant her the nomination.
