Attorney Alan Dershowitz said he has the “perfect sex life” with his wife while defending himself against the lawyer representing one of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers.
During an interview Thursday evening, Dershowitz castigated lawyer David Boies, who is representing Virginia Roberts Giuffre. A former Mar-a-Lago locker room attendant, Giuffre claims Dershowitz had sex with her while she was a minor after being recruited by Epstein.
“I have had sex with one woman since the day I met Jeffrey Epstein. I challenge David Boies to say under oath that he’s only had sex with one woman … He has an enormous amount of chutzpah to attack me and challenge my perfect, perfect sex life during the relevant period of time,” Dershowitz said to Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
Dershowitz, who represented Epstein in a 2008 plea agreement, denies Giuffre’s allegation, claiming he never met her. He also claims her lawyer has made this personal.
In what has become a war of words, Boies said earlier in the day that it is “absurd” that Dershowitz claims he is trying to destroy his reputation and is just trying to “make this between him and me.”
Dershowitz called for a federal investigation into Boies. He said Boies has a “terrible reputation for sexual activities,” is only involved in this case for the money, and exclaimed he will “beat him, and I’m going to beat him bad.”
Dershowitz also denies the allegations of another Epstein accuser, Sarah Ransome, who claims to have been directed to have sex with him.
Dershowitz said his accusers only “started telling their lies” after they met Boies.
A federal judge denied bail Thursday for Epstein, meaning the jet-setting financier and accused child sex trafficker will remain behind bars likely for many months while awaiting his trial.
Epstein has been in jail since he was arrested by authorities at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on his way home from Paris earlier in July. The 14-page indictment alleges he “sexually exploited and abused dozens of minor girls at his homes in Manhattan, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida, among other locations” between 2002 and 2005. Epstein, already a registered sex offender, pleaded not guilty.
