U.S. Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Va., steps in a “brown substance,” gets smacked with tree branches, and spills coffee on himself.
And that’s just in his new campaign ad.
The freshman Democrat, one of the most vulnerable in the nation, is apparently trying to highlight a workmanlike approach in his campaign’s new ad, titled “New Jobs.”
By the end of the spot, in which he stresses job creation in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District, Perriello is covered in dirt as he delivers the final portion: “I’m Tom Perriello, and I support this message, because I guarantee no one will work harder to bring jobs to Virginia.”
The ad, which can be seen here, is airing in the Roanoke and Charlottesville areas.
