Director Cameron gives sub to Mass. scientists

FALMOUTH, Mass. (AP) — Marine scientists on Cape Cod are teaming with filmmaker and explorer James Cameron to advance deep sea research.

Cameron announced Tuesday that he’s giving his Deepsea Challenger sub to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of a partnership to speed up ocean research and discovery.
